Dry on the palate, well balanced and complex.

Showing raspberries, strawberries, plums, red currants, earth, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, light tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a delicious Grenache from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Fresh tasting and already drinking beautifully, even though it is very young. Elegant and nicely balanced. Complex and engaging.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Showing good potential to become a 94+ point wine.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.

A blend of 86% Grenache from old vines with 7% Syrah and 7% Mourvèdre. Aged in large French oak barrels.

On the palate this is all about the texture , quite round but enough balance , blanched almonds , peach. Waxy notes . Good length . Opened prior to dinner; enjoyed over several hours. The 2012 pours a light ruby with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of red brambles, red rope licorice, leather, red flowers and purple flowers, and stony minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose the finish is medium+. Textbook, Grenache forward CdP that’s showing quite beautifully. This is a delicious Grenache blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Rich and extracted. Powerful and interesting. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Complex and entertaining.

Already showing beautifully, and will continue to age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years.

A blend of 75% Grenache, 12% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre and a touch of Vaccarèse, Counoise and Cinsault. Aged in large French oak barrels for 16 months.
