Lemon, lime, peach, and butter without being heavily oaky. I really like this for myself - it drinks with good balance. Doesn’t seem great for my system, however. — 6 months ago
Classic Chardonnay in style popular 20 years ago with oaky overtone especially as it opens up. Initially lots of fruit. Great with chicken. February 2023. — 9 months ago
Favorite that still delivers. Oaky and round and full but not too much. — a month ago
A very delicious white at Doha airport.. quite full on the mouth, oaky, grassy really rich and for a white wine for me really loved it — a year ago
Oaky and buttery one of my favourites — 2 months ago
The only Chardonnay I’ve liked. Drank a 2013 aged for 10 years. Syrupy, oaky, sweet, paired great with a roast chicken. — 6 months ago
Oaky. Smooth. — 9 months ago
Had the ‘16 about a year ago, tried again. For more than 4 decades, the Chappellet family has been crafting wines from fruit cultivated on steep, rocky slopes of Napa’s Pritchard Hill. Aged 8 months on French oak, (33% new) in its lees. Aromas of ripe stone fruits, citrus, honey & oaky scents. On the palate layers of fruit, apple, lemon & peach with balanced acidity & gentle toasty oak. Long smooth finish ending with fruit and oak tones, a bit creamy. Very well done. A joy to drink. Still tasting great! — 4 years ago
