had this over a year ago and it's noticeably better, more defined fruit & secondary notes, opulent, rich smooth - so consistent year in year out, this will rock for a decade or so — 3 days ago

gorgeous, deep opaque ruby/garnet, gobs of cherry & red fruit, spice, showed like a Sonoma County Zin - well made, generous, balanced w/long finish. Great QPR — 10 days ago

ask the wine guy for something unusual, something off the beaten path and he recommends this delicious dry 100% Palomino w/some bottle age: definitely a food wine, light greenish straw color w/fairly austere nose full of minerals, lanolin, herbaceous musk, white flowers (jasmine), ginger & some spices. on palate it is rigid & angular, zesty acidity, some citrus but mostly minerals & herbs, quinine, screams for briny foods - we had this w/deli section fare & salad. — 4 days ago

impressive: lacked the Priorato terroir that i love, but this was a well balanced, generous field blend that belied the age on the bottle. inky, deeply opaque, wafting aromas of black & red fruit, exotic herbs & spices, herbaceous and deeply layered, complex, engaging, on palate it was polished, balanced, integrated tannins and smooth voluptuous finish. — 12 days ago

Go Georgia! bit rustic & simplistic but enjoyable, juicy lively lot of acidity w/this varietal - had a bit of that squirrelliness but ultimately behaves itself. dark fruit & flavors, herbaceous, lot of flavors packed into a neat lil package — 6 days ago

very pleasant, elegant, all kinds of cherry, raspberry and red currant on nose, some red florals, spice and an herbal note. great varietal typicity w/out carbonics - legit, classic style, has many more years ahead, mild tannins and decent acidity make this versatile for food options — 11 days ago

@ESF, I am a fan of this wine, cannot recall if I’ve had the 2019, but often find this cuvée on the discount shelves 4-6 years after the vintage, and it never seems to disappoint. Cheers!
