nice little entry level wine: generous nose starts w/whiff of petrol then moves to orchard fruit w/confectionary sugar & cotton candy, then passes briefly thru citrus and then finds the stoniness. has the soft, rounded edges of Mosel w/big fat ripe fruit mid palate before finish nearly dry - maybe a trace of RS. great QPR not structured for long haul tho — 8 days ago

I think this might be CS, M & Neb - whatever the varietal composition it was flat out fantastic. I've had wine from the Baja Peninsula and was never really blown away, but this was beautiful: BDX profile but also a New World exuberance, not overly manipulated - everything in balance & fair bit of polish.
