Fun wine, extended skin contact - looks like a Rose and tasted like one too: mix between tart red fruit & savory notes, some potpourri, fairly exotic. Palate was bit more austere, open canvas for variety of light fare. We had huge salad w/smoked salmon and it was fantastic. Balanced and dry finish, go find some Georgian wine! — 9 days ago
Stunner: found this for $15 and took a chance: right out of the gate big time nose of vanillin, florals - just crazy lilacs and red flowers, gobs of red fruit, mocha, black pepper and so on. palate was equally generous with a fantastic grip that I’ve only had in high end (old vine) Mencia. Beautiful integrated acidity and impressive length. Going to try & find a case! — 13 days ago
Very impressive: inky dark dank, luxurious nose of perfectly ripe red fruit, just gobs of cherries, some leafy herbaceous too, peppery spices and fresh soil. On palate it was silky smooth, lush med + body, finely grained tannins and decent acidity. Well balanced, great extraction - no rough edges thru finish. — 10 days ago
GA beer for Tybee Island adventures: go to beach, get some sunshine, drink cold beer — 14 days ago
So solid, year in year out - I know they make a ton of this, and yes it’s at Costco, but when you’re looking for a reliable Zin, this is it. Bordering on being too fruit forward - this barely checks the box for secondary aromas & flavors. Balanced harmonious with intermediate aging potential. Try to find their single vineyard offerings. — 11 days ago
