Last had the 14 and this was just as nice - very dark purple, inky w/impressive aromas of red & dark fruit, some vanilla & cassis, perfumed - bit floral. Mid palate is gorgeous, more red & black fruits, tastes polished w/decent length on finish. I would guess Zin but I guess there are a bunch of Italian varietals in this blend. — 16 days ago
Solid wine - believe it was a Costco special: fragrant nose of red & black fruit, very ripe, verging on liqueur like, distinct minerality and earth tones. Med bodied, finely grained tannins, integrated acidity carrying flavors thru lingering finish. Excellent QPR — 13 days ago
Improved since last time I drank this - much more ripe - even a baked dark fruit character… some earth driven elements but fairly straight forward with lovely balance & poise. Cohesive, nice acidity and smooth finish. Built for the intermediate haul as entry level Rioja. — 18 days ago
Picked this up in CdP and what a treat - in the pocket now and after 1.5 hrs in decanter really opened up with cherry, mulberry, cranberry, clove & cardamom, white pepper, hoisin, vein of mineral. Suave smooth luxurious on mid-palate, w/regal bearing. Persistent finish - I’d drink these now & within say 3-5 yrs — 5 days ago
Love wines from this unheralded region: Sangiovese is so agreeable here - nothing rustic about this, so darn likable: smooth rich, full of cherries & dark fruit, just a hint of the Earth & spice - kind of wine that goes down fast you might as well open 2. Bump for QPR — 7 days ago
Decent, had their red blend - was really impressed, so I tried their varietal carmenere. Inky, dark fruit profile w/distinct green edges, plenty of herbaceousness, some pepper, lil leathery goodness. Nice complexity on nose, medium bodied, silky smooth, more 1 dimensional on mid palate w/pliable tannins and bit of juiciness. Modest finish. — 16 days ago

Novelty from Greece - decent, nose was sort of all over the place, lots of rubber & latex, then yielded some red & blue fruit, some pepper, some meat & iodine. Med bodied, pliable, silky, more fruit driven on mid palate but quirky & rustic too. Herbaceous accent fruit & spice. Modest finish. I’m a sucker for these types of wines… — 2 days ago
