Light white gold color. Bright aromas of gooseberry, tropical fruits, peaches, white flowers, green apple, lime and fresh herbs/grass. Plentiful lime and grapefruit on the palate with hints of green apple, peach and fresh herbs. A pleasant spiciness on the finish. Medium-light bodied and medium-plus acidity. Very refreshing. Quite “New Zealand-like” in style. Thanks for the bottle, Kase! — 6 days ago
Light golden color. Aromas of expressive white flowers, grapefruit and orange. Fruit forward palate includes citrus, white peach, pear, apricot and a slight hint of sweet spice. Medium bodied, crisp, well balanced with a pretty long finish. No sign of RS. Pleasant surprise. — a day ago
Blend of (mostly) Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo. Another solid vintage of this Crianza-Styled Rioja. Medium inky ruby color with garnet highlights. Plush aromas of ripe plums and dark berries with a subtle note of beef jerky and wet soil. Juicy dark berry and plum flavors also fill the palate with additional notes of black tea and dark caramel. Hint of cocoa on the tart and spicy finish. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a velvety texture. Outstanding QPR! — 3 days ago
Bright fuchsia/light ruby color. Elegant aromas and flavors of ripe raspberries, ripe strawberries and rose petals. Delicate mouthfeel but with a nice steady and fine stream of bubbles. Pretty well balanced and quite delicate. Yes, this wine is sweet but it still has a quality wine vibe to it. Only 5.5% ABV. Pairs well with chocolate. My wife loves this stuff! — 5 days ago
Blend of Monastrell (60%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and Syrah (10%). Dark ruby/purple/black color. Aromas of cooked berries, leather and dusty earth. Black plum and blackberry compote on the palate with hints of black tea and toasted vanilla. Long and oaky finish with a touch of slate and dark chocolate. Big and full bodied, but the tannins are nicely rounded and there is a balanced note of acidity. Well crafted and a great example of an excellent Southern Spanish Red. — 3 days ago
Powerful wine made from Old Vine (100% Tempranillo) Grapes. Historic looking bottle. Dark ruby color (almost black) with a very slight garnet rim. Aromas of black berry/currant, dried fig, and tobacco with a distinct note of alcohol (blows off) right out of the bottle. Dark fruit on the palate with additional notes of baking spices, black licorice, black pepper and a large amount of graphite. A noticeable aftertaste of vanilla oak on the very long and persistent finish. Bone dry with mouth watering acidity. Old School. — 3 days ago
