Blend of primarily Sangiovese (70%) along with equal parts Sagrantino (15%) and Merlot (15%). Medium ruby color with purple highlights and a garnet rim. Aromas of black fruits, dark chocolate, violets, leather, forest floor and dried herbs. Black cherry, cassis and pomegranate flavors with additional hints of tobacco, black licorice and wet soil. Medium earthy/spicy finish and a grainy texture. Some grip and power but nicely balanced. Pleasant rustic quality. Solid value. — 7 days ago

Medium straw color. Aromas and flavors of apricot, green melon, pears, lemon, peaches, raw almonds, white flowers and minerals. Hint of saline on the long and persistent finish. Crisp acidity and pretty bold and expressive for a fresh Pinot Grigio. Medium-minus bodied but quite fruit forward and flavorful. Very refreshing. Outstanding QPR. Solid expression of the varietal. — 6 days ago
Nice light copper/pink color. Bountiful aromas of pink and white flowers along with some berry and citrus notes. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry lemon and orange fruit. Crisp finish with a small amount of RS. Creamy texture and mousse. Steady stream of bubbles. Elegant, refreshing and easy to drink. More of an aperitif or dessert wine for me but I could see this one being a crowd pleaser. — 6 days ago
Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of red and black berries, violets, tobacco and smoky herbs. Flavors of blackberry, cooked plums, black olives, dark chocolate and eucalyptus. Hints of minerals, light oak and saline on the medium length and slightly bitter finish. Chewy tannins and reasonably well balanced. A bit lighter in body than a typical Tannat-based wine. — 12 days ago
