Bordeaux red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (56%) and Merlot (44%). Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Ripe red fruit aromas with distinct purple flower notes. The palate is more black fruit (blackberry and black currant) focused with hints of black tea, baking spices, wet stones and dried mint. Touch of saline on the finish. Medium bodied and crisp acidity. Well balanced and harmonious. Thanks for opening this one, Keith S! — 12 days ago
Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with some Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot blended in. Dark ruby color. Aromas of kirsh, violet, basil and forest floor. Dark berry/cherry fruit drives the palate with additional flavors of cocoa, graphite and dried herbs. Long finish but the tannins are a bit chewy and harsh. Full bodied and slightly out of balance. A bit disappointing. Part of Capital Grille’s 2024 Generous Pour Program. — 14 days ago
