St. Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend

All New French Oak, more of a new world take on this wine.

If tasted blind I would have gotten crushed. Never would've thought Bordeaux. Never would've thought right bank. Never ever would've thought merlot based. I suck.

Modern style. Ripe fruit, lots of dark chocolate and lush black plum. Great acid and length with complex applewood like oakiness. So good.

Big nose of mineral, sweet cedar, and tobacco, shifting to more subtle notes of currant, fresh violets, mineral, and sweet baking spice on the palate.

Good ass bordeaux.

Oak, caramel, vanilla, pinch of cinnamon, prunes, warm pastry. Big and modern for a St Emilion. Tasted blind I think I would have called this a Bordoblend from Napa.
Luckily, I like both styles of St. Emilion… 😋

CNY 2022. Tobacco and red fruit. After 30 mins blue fruit nose emerge. Enjoys it very much and the flavours lingers. Suspect the producers is making consistent wines of that profile
