Blend of 70% Grenache, 17% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah & 3% Cinsault, deep Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits, oak and floral spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with oak, herb spice and floral notes. Wine was complex and elegant with fine smooth tannins, long fruit and spicy finish. Peppery and delicious. Smooth — a month ago
It’s a very balanced, rich and pleasant wine. No suprises, but perfect delivery. — 2 months ago
A little orange bricking on the edge, this lovely aromatic 25-year-old Chateauneuf seems mature and ready to drink, still shows lively acidity which nicely lifts the red fruited flavors, good weight, lingering finish, should pair beautifully with the bison ribeye I will soon be grilling!! — 3 months ago

Pitted dark fruits on the nose. Very smooth and elegant feel with the perfect blend of fruit and earth. — a month ago
Blend of Grenache (70%), Syrah (20%) and Mourvèdre (10%). Dark ruby color with a garnet meniscus. Aromas of black berry/cherry fruit, purple flowers, leather, garrigue and dried herbs. Flavors of dried blackberry and red and black cherry fruit, tobacco, black pepper, red and black licorice and a bit of smoked meat. Medium-plus body and finish. Plus acidity, nice structure and nicely smoothed out tannins. Well aged and hitting its peak. Appreciate you opening this one, Ron B! — 2 months ago

This is the most full bodied « rosé » that I’ve had. Beautiful and rich - a wonderful exemplar of the Tavel AOP — 6 months ago
2013 vintage. Nice fill. Excellent cork. No Durand needed. Decanted with some sed and tasted multiple times over the course of two hours. Origin story medium-heavy body now a light-medium body but with zero loss of color intensity. Primary flavors completely evacuated with secondary and tertiary flavors rushing in to fill the nature-abhorred vacuum. Initially, pretty bretty and likely too much for many...especially those not enamored with/used to such. Black olives, garrigue and cracked black pepper throughout mitigated the sweaty saddle and in serious leather (apologies to Frank Zappa) tendencies in the first hour. Overt, bretty notes dissipated after 45 minutes, This particular wine and vintage at the zenith/absolute top of its' particular bell curve and tastes like it can hover there another 5-6 years without drop-off or apology. 10.28.25. — a month ago

This is generally regarded as the best example of Shiraz Viognier in Australia but recently I tried a 2015 Serrat Shiraz Viognier which was the equal of Clonakilla if not better. As per previous Delectable notes this bottle had the trademark dried spices, cloves a trace of pepper and dried meat. Barely medium weight and always a joy to drink. My last bottle. — a month ago
100% Syrah. This is a very inexpensive Cotes but 2019 was a banner year. Velvety and full bodied. Notes of black cherry, graphite and cocoa powder. Medium tannins brings a decent finish. Nicely paired with a spicy grilled chicken. — 2 months ago
Used the Durand on the cork - soaked to the edge. Decanted for 2 hours.
This wine had some gaminess. Smooth. Fruit was a bit wild and overpowered by the savory flavors.
Paired well with the chicken skewers and onions. Needed complex flavors in the food to pair well.
Good but quite a bit below the Beaucastel — 2 months ago
Reddish in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing raspberries, fresh cherries, light oak, spices, chocolates, coffee and black pepper.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Grenache from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Still young, but already drinking beautifully. Easy drinking right out of the bottle, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
Robert Parker 93 points.
I've had a few vintages of this wine, and this vintage is absolutely fantastic. The high alcohol is well integrated already.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.
A blend of 85% Grenache, 5% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre and 5% local varieties.

This drank very well and I enjoyed it much more than my previous bottle. An aged California claret of nicely balanced fruit & dirt. For my taste, it's near or at peak so enjoy now. From magnum. — 3 months ago
