What a beautiful expression of Chardonnay in the glass. Both subtle and interesting on the nose, richness of color, and a perfectly balanced wine. A truly beautiful, deeply ruby garnet wine! Typical young Bordeaux on the nose that explodes in the glass with graphite, tar, and oak flavors on the palette. Tasted immediately after de-corking and the wine was tight but the transformation after 24 hours in the bottle was profound.
