今が2025年なので、21年前のワイン。

色はガーネット色になっていないように見える。
香りも熟成的なニュアンスはなく、とてもきれい。

飲んでみると、ドライローズ?アセロラ?

ネッビオーロとは思えない香り。ドルチェットもドルチェットらしからぬ香りだったが、その時と同じ香りがする。ジュゼッペマスカレッロ香とも言うべき香りなのか。。。

タンニンは完全に溶け込んでいて、澄み切ったというか、透明感のある果実味。
軽やかだが、緻密で焦点があった感じがする。
エレガントというかとにかく優しく繊細。
ブラインドではバローロ と言えないと思う。
唯一無二のワイン。

ちなみに、最後にオリも一切なし。本当に21年前のワインだったのだろうか。。。

Tenuta Nuova Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2017

It was very acidity and a bit bland at first. Maybe it needed more time, but decanted for 3ish hours and it tasted a lot like mushrooms, balsamic, black currant and a touch of underbrush with forest floor- with a touch of oak and spice. It was tannic but there was a lack of something in the mid palate and fruit. As I drank the last glass after 5 hours of decanting, it started to open up beautifully. All the aforementioned characteristics but with a strong mid palate filled with dark fruit. Delicious. Not as good as other vintages but this is worth drinking but give it some time to decante. Maybe 4+ hours. — 18 days ago
