After a 4-hour decant, this beauty is just starting to open up.
With a medium garnet hue, this wine offers medium+ aromas and flavors of blackberry bramble, black cherry clafoutis, plum, fig, orange peel, stewed strawberry, pomegranate, violet, black licorice, black tea, star anise, nutmeg, vanilla, clove, leather, cured meat, and forest floor.
It’s both rugged and nuanced with a story to tell. Words that spring to mind to describe this wine are complexity, depth, and dimension with years and years of life ahead of it.
The high alcohol of 14.5% ABV matches the strength of other structural components such as acidity, aroma and flavor concentration, tannins, and body. It’s balanced with a lingering finish leaving us wanting more! — a month ago
Nice. Purchased in Paris Jul 2022. — 18 days ago
Young but showing some potential. Meaty red fruit, lots of cherry & a hint of funk. Give it a few years — 15 days ago
See previous Delectable notes. Unctuous, full bodied, aromas of ripe grapefruit. Viscous on the palate with mandarin flesh on the M+ palate with M- acid. I note my previous notes mentioned stone fruit like apricot and nectarine but not so much this time. No other word for this wine other than delicious. I love Rhone whites. — 2 months ago

Refined plummy fruit. Pretty. A little more right now. Needs time. — 11 hours ago
