Schrader Cellars

RBS Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

At first open, super wild fruits between blueberry and cherry. Strange tartness and range of flavors. Almost disjointed. Wife says it needs airtime. She’s right

With some glass and bottle airtime - maybe 1-1.5 hours - wildness calms down and the wine shows more finesse. It pairs well with steak and holds up but barely. You get the sense this was a riper year.

Overall - a great wine for the 4 year olds birthday
