Straw and green apples and the nose and palate. Finishes like a Granny Smith. Good acidity with some sugar but not too much sweetness. Reserve is a step up but this is a great value. — 3 months ago

Amazing Mosel Riesling, probably the best I’ve had! Very aromatic, concentrated and balanced. Long finish. Lemon, floral, great acidity and not cloying like some Mosels can be. Thanks @Lyle Fass — 2 months ago
I like FLX rieslings, HJW’s better than most. With that basis, this one is an A-. Structure and flavor is good with mild layering. But of sweet flowery notes (without making the overall wine sweet). — 8 months ago
Excellent. Fresh, fruity, and very drinkable. Juicy and delicious. Quite dry. Little finish, but who cares. Wish I bought more. — 2 years ago
First time drinking a Ludes Riesling. Screaming acidity, peach, hint of tropical fruit, apricot, pear, green apple. — 3 years ago

A hot day and Cambodian modern at@Mawn restaurant, so natch. Not the greatest glasses but serviceable enough.
Mouth filling orchard fruit with a decidedly underripe peach quality, white flowers and a refreshing peppery, stony wash of a finish. This was an accompaniment wine, no studying, swishing ( well, a bit), or developing in the glass. Got along perfectly with roasted Dorade, Sweet/Sour/Chili Head on Soft Shell Shrimp, begging for another glug.Texturally interesting as the entry was round, flattened out and finished with a snap. Our waitress was very curious and highly approved of her portion. No rough edges here. Happiness all around.
