This Hansel was beautiful. Started out tight on acidity but calmed down and balanced nicely after a few hours. Bought another. Cheers. — a month ago
Clean, uplifting and textbook. Perfect with the tough match of Turkey... in a tough year exemplifying what to be thankful for. Cheers! — 2 months ago

Wow. 2005 is amazing now... right out of the bottle. Wow. Can still taste the memory. — a month ago
Clean, pure, soft... butterfly and unicorn whispers. Needed a few hours to open. In fact I thought it was best the next day (and last glass on the third ). Nose is beautiful. Palate well balanced and smooth. — 2 months ago
Malt, cream, banana, vanilla, burnt match nose... all that! And this ‘real thing’ was the cheapest bottle among all the Micro brews at the shop. mamma show you how to do it! — 2 months ago
Gorgeous. But erring on subtlety at first. I corked it and 2nd and 3rd night picked up olive and cocoa while remaining balanced. Nice! — 25 days ago
Perhaps an off bottle. Bright cherry with an intense chalky finish. Not like Rutherford dust... but like Sister Margaret’s eraser board chalk dust. — a month ago

Had fun with a “Judgement of Granite Bay” France vs. California challenge. Both ‘15s, both originally about the same price. The Bedrock was plush and luxurious on the palate while soft on the nose. Glorious to drink. The Graillott nose was like an epic poem about the inside of a French barn. Loved it. But the palate didn’t match. I could swirl and smell that Graillott forever.... and then following that with a sip of the Bedrock... managed the perfect wine! — 12 days ago
