Enjoyed drinking with family, but didn’t have much of the typical Sangiovese characteristics. Simple and direct, easy to focus on the friends you’re drinking with. Just a little fruit and earth. — a month ago
Excellent. Nice zing. Interesting banana note takes top line with other tropical notes supporting. Rounder mouthfeel. — 2 months ago
Fantastic value. Mostly dry Riesling and the complexity one expects from such a wine. Would drink again and was a hit for folks who typically have different preferences (good for those who like sweet or dry). — 3 months ago
Only rates this high after a couple of hours of opening. Super tight and barely aromatic upon opening. Eventually gets to a more traditional tar and roses Nebbiolo bouquet. Slight truffles, wet earth, and cherry in the mix. Fairly tannic after an hour open and eases up after two. — 10 days ago
Very fruity—tropical—without being sweet or cloying. Medium-minus acidity, which is still nice for how fruity the wine is. Guava, bananas, and more. Medium-plus finish. Pairs very well with grilled fish in a butter sauce. — 2 months ago
Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs are famous for a reason this one hits that baseline squarely but nothing further stands out. — 3 months ago
Tough to rate. Early on scores low. But after opening—and it needs hours—becomes quite good. High+ tannins. Cherry, violet/rose, leather, fungal earth. Very Barolo Nebbiolo with much stronger tannins and not quite the depth until much later in the decant. — 17 days ago
One of my favorite champagnes. Lots more apple zestiness than many. Still retains that classic champagne brioche toastiness. Smooth and creamy. — a month ago
Starts off with fruit: lemon, grapefruit, apple flesh. Shifts to minerals and seashells with a little salinity. Short finish. Medium acidity. Just a little creaminess at the very very end. — 3 months ago

Needs a ton of time to open up. Once it does (ie day 2), medium plus tannic, cherry, earth. — 8 days ago
