Absolutely exceptional and outstanding — 2 days ago
I just found this hiding in our cellar, given the age on the wine, I thought that this would need to be dispatched with urgency. I could not have been further from how it actually presented.
The nose is lively and almost raucous. Loads of cherry jam and cinnamon. The palate is dense and compact, showing absolutely no signs of aging. Cherries, cedar and sweet jam are joined by powerful tannins. I’m floored as to how well this has presented. Kudos to the winery. — 13 days ago
Huge concentration of flavors in this glass! @Tom Casagrande pretty much nailed it! I am taking the easy way out, putting on some classical 🎶 🎻 and enjoy! 😉 — a month ago
Black currant, black raspberry, gentle earthiness, black pepper, and slight star anise at the end. Lovely example of a Willamette Pinot. Medium to full body with medium tannins. Performed even better after decanting. — 12 hours ago
One of the best. Very balanced. Red fruit but earthy. — 12 days ago
Med+ body, med acid and tannin… red cherry and vanilla aromas, red fruit flavor, caramel and woody; for a mass wine, somewhat simple, kinda big, but not exactly unlikeable. — a month ago

49% Cabernet Sauvignon; 21% Malbec; 17% Merlot; 8% Petit Verdot; 4% Syrah; 1% Carmenere. Chalk Hill AVA is a sub-appellation of the Russian River Valley AVA and is known for its chalky white ash soils. Restrained red currant fruit with mineral and graphite notes. Balanced and Bordeaux-like. — 12 days ago
