Strong chicory and chocolate-coffee bean entry creamy just below the leather. Dried chile turns, with the gentle push from a licorice spider leg, into a black mushroom-cinnamon dark roast coffee bean in a cedar spoon. Black pepper peeps through almond eyes. Snare it prepare it and drain it dry.

Fat Orange Cat Cautionary Tail Pumpkin Ale. North Haven, CT

Brown and flinty orange body has a coffee with cream head that loosely rises. Drawn and quartered lacing has bubble eyed ghosts and barn owl faces in an appropriate nod. Warm and cozy comfort spices rise from sweet potatoes, maple syrup, brown sugar and butter cauldrons, while spider eyes blink and pop on a wisp of fog as stringy as Spanish moss. The head is gone like the last gasp of an autumn tree, and the gourd ascends. Cinnamon sticks and nutmeg creak in the vestiges of twilight. Only darkness now. Roasted pecan, burnt brown sugar, toffee and treacle, crowned by a full moon scoop of vanilla cream.

A color resembling five alive. 0range-beige wet plaster-textured head with falling leaves lacing. Evocative nose of tropical pineapple, lime, tangerine, pink grapefruit, mango, papaya. Creamy mouthfeel with razz-y bite-y parts. Earthy orange-chocolate, ginger root, savory, sarsparilla, nutmeg, tarragon. A feast of cornucopic proportion. Malty and strong. This one really toasts the bony quantum nave. Dare I say ‘it’s money!’

Cedar spirit breath leads to dark baguette and lastly pretzel. Zested kumquat. The palate is lip smackingly balanced with a zip of bitter chit as an anchor. The motley crew consists of cherry, savory, nutmeg, pecan, baking chocolate and glistening caramel strands.

Toppling Goliath Munich Weiss Hefeweizen Ale.

Marigold and antique gold assemblage. Bubbly, ropy cloud cover. Bear paw print lacing to ursine spoor torpedoes. Strong nose of yeast with ammoniac aura, lime is the citrus bulls eye. Lemon zest on whole wheat. Citrus mouthful! Very lemon with white grapefruit and bitter orange. Clove and cinnamon bring the bark. None of the softness of the wheat, but a sour and lovely excursion on the citric parameters.
