Exquisite lemon-lime interlace couched in pith exemplifies the stated, but somehow simultaneously highlights a rounder, olive-floral, cherry and pear blossom otherness. Rich palate drives an olive and lemon oil union straight into an interesting baked lemon flattening with bright acid dichotomy. Incredible depth and infinite layers of stunning complexity. Needs many more years, but wow.

Drink this one too cold and it will fall flat. Let it warm up in the glass closer to 60° to 65°F and it comes alive. Interestingly not a very expressive nose at all, some muted lemon, orchard fruit notes. Hint of gunpowder melts to reveal a pudding-soft, dried lychee which peels away to white roses, citrus pith and avocado cloud glistening with flintlock shavings in ginkgo shade. Extraordinary palate leans hard into a soft wall of olive, evaporating lemon oils, cottonseed oil, and lime nodules. Tangerine-pear impossibilities flower, riveting the tongue with pithy, zesty, and blossoming evocations. Ginger, tea and nano bits of Wrigley’s original juicy fruit.

The smoke hasn’t cleared on this battle worn soldier. Really strong sense of gun powder! Volatilize, and peeks of lime pith or lemon verbena squeeze through the cracks like light in your lashes, revealing pepper and pecan shell, black mushroom spores and elm, with cigar sweetness and black lime on a smoky battlefield. Palate is lime pith and zest and oil and candied lime sparkles floating down a lemon juice river, with thick, thick lemon pith banks. Kind of a gangly age here, but showing depth and intensity. Need to see this one when it matures, sculpted like an Olympian.
