Great Chablis. Not as good as Valions from same producer. Rich pallet with good acidity. 8/10 — 8 months ago
A bit disappointing for this producer. A bit flabby — 9 months ago
There isn’t a better Cote du Rhone for the price. — 2 years ago
2020 vintage. Everything is great these days at Jaboulet (négoce wines and estate wines alike) and this Côte Rôtie is no exception. "Les Jumelles" (French for " twins" ) is a blend of Côte Blonde and Côte Brune. It is a terrific effort in a vintage that maintained impressive freshness in a very hot year. A beautiful nose with red and black fruits and flowers. It has depth and elegance, refined tannins and great length. Abv.14%. — 3 years ago

At first a little too fruity but then mellowed out — 7 months ago
Tasted the young 2020 and loved it. Full body but nice fruit forward. Aging only 20% of volume in oak gives wine perfect amount of oakiness. Putting these babies away for several years and will be looking forward to them. Was a family favorite. — 8 months ago
Delicious. About $25 from Liner & Elsen — 2 years ago
Earthy with notes of herbs and stone. — 4 years ago
Picked this up a few months ago from the state store when I saw Louis Dressner. Seems different from the only other fleurie I’ve had. Lots of earth juice with raspberry. — 4 years ago

2013 vintage. The second wine of La Chapelle, that is now named " Maison Bleue", but an excellent wine in its own right. At 9 years old this is absolutely gorgeous with an expressive nose of blackberries, wild flowers, pepper and leather, enhanced by a subtle smokiness. In the mouth it combines power with elegance, with pure fruit, subtle spices, silky tannins and great length. Terrific value if the mythical La Chappelle doesn't fit your budget. Delish as usual — 5 years ago

My wife is a kindergarten teacher, so we both understand the importance of a little alcohol at the end of the day! With it being Valentine's Day, we figured this bottle from O'Brien, a favorite of ours, fit the day well! They are a sight for sore eyes when surrounded by big Napa fruit bomb cabs. These are beautiful Bordeaux style wines that accentuate restrained fruit but also a great blend of funky earth and spice. (And JRae's cookies in town has the best sugar cookies around...we'll enjoy one or two before drinking as this wine needs at least an hour decant before it opens...not a pop'n'pour style). — 8 years ago
