Coravin first glass. Very intense, lot of oak right off the bat. Too much. Tried a 4 hr decant on second night, tannin much more mellow, but oak still not fully integrated. Quality but needs more time — a month ago
Classic Bordeaux. Beautiful nose, merlot shining through. Always happy to drink old wine. — a month ago
Pleasantly surprised by this. Good weight, acidity. Lemon curd notes. — 2 months ago
Two years since I last drank this. Gorgeous once again. Notable acidity. Went down so easy. Did not grow significantly over 4 hours open. — 7 days ago
Very nice. No oak at all. Definitely restrained and tight at this young age. But after 4 or 5 bottles of Ceritas, starting to recognize the style. Reserved, ethereal. Question is whether they blossom into beauties with more age… — a month ago
First time trying Field Recordings. Unique, more red hue than orange. Chenin coming thru on the nose. Good weight and acid. Solid. — a month ago
Coravin first glass. Deeper violet hues. Brooding. Electric nose of dark fruits, mushroom. Immediately get the tannins on the palette. Beautiful tension. Excited to see this blossom with air — 25 days ago
First open, used Coravin on night one. Cotton candy first hit on the nose. Blows off and you get more melon. On the palette, oak, butter, then acidity hits. Too much going on to really enjoy the wine. On night two, much more mellow and enjoyable. More of the oak/butter style while I prefer something closer to Mayacamas/Mount Eden — a month ago
2003, decanted, no sediment at all. Beautiful color. The nose was incredible. So much vanilla, cigar box. Wish it had been a magnum. Shared by my father to welcome my son Asher. — 2 months ago

Candied fruit and melon. Had good weight, could use a bit more acid. For the price, solid but not exciting — a day ago
