Last tried in March of ‘18 at 8.9...with note of “early stage of drinking window...touch of modernity.” Forty-five months in we are definitely within the wine’s drinking window; don’t foresee further development. Typical CCR tasting notes but atypical added richness. Pairing it with homemade pizza. — 17 days ago
This is a nice and easy drinking Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity and a great mouthfeel.
Medium plus in body and very smooth, with medium acidity.
Showing red fruits with earth, wood, spices, tobacco leaf, chocolates and black pepper.
Still young and would be better in a few years.
13.1% alcohol by volume.

Smooth tannins, ripe red fruit, licorice, soft finish. Opens up nice. — 5 days ago
This was a Costco find as I cruised through the wine area. I had never tried this producer and I figured it might be fun to try something new. Served with Italian Sausage, tomatoes, peppers and onion. The wine poured a deep ruby color with a near opaque core. On the nose, bright red cherries, dried herbs and some dry earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. There’s red rope licorice, dusty earth, dried herbs and just the faintest kiss of baking spice. It’s unmistakably Sangiovese and pretty high quality. The color was a little on the darker side and detected a little bit of barrique so I figured this was a little modern leaning. Sure enough, there’s a little bit of Cabernet and Merlot in the blend and each have seen some barrique. However, the bulk of the blend is Sangio aged in large Slavonian oak and the sense of place shines through. Drink now or over the next ten years. — 7 days ago

What you want in a Brunello. This was excellent. Paired well with Rosemary Steak,
Potatoes, etc. fantastico! — 11 days ago
Delicious. Ripe red fruit are balanced by high acidity, savory leather notes, and tannin. — 2 days ago
Terrific Chianti. Nose features loads of gravel, balsamic notes, intense macerated chokecherry, spice. So soft, perfectly mature, great flavor concentration, tannins mostly resolved. Fruit in the initial palate, but transforming into leather and autumn leaves by the end. — 18 days ago
