Compared with Gazin. Quite gentle. Less earthy. Fruity. But robust is same. Good balanced to the last vintage tasted before. Ok to drink. Château Beychevelle 21 @, , 250716 — 17 hours ago

+2 hour decant(decent chunky/fine sediment). A remarkable dark magenta with some bricking. Nose: Captivating savory notes of dark fruit, herbaceous, funky earth, worn leather, pencil shavings, cedar, smoked meat, maybe a touch of bandaid(brett). Taste: A savory wine with class and elegance... dark currants, tobacco, graphite, saline, cedar, and a spiced earthy minerally medium plus finish. YUM! — 20 days ago
Too jammy and, dare I say it, Parkerized for what I have seen in older and more recent La Conseillante. It was Marielle Cazaux’s first vintage and she probably took too much advice from Michel Rolland. — 8 days ago
Light to medium body, floral and perfume bouquet, smooth and easy to drink, ripe berry finish, light yet strong enough to pair with beef. Fantastic! — 5 days ago
Bewitching #bordeaux - second wine of 5th Growth Château Clerc Milon. After decanting, distinctive and pronounced #paulliac graphite, dusty cassis nose. Lovely brightness on palate, genteel tannins, and a long finish with that pencil lead foundation throughout. That acid-leaning balance makes it a meal-friendly wine and not just the usual suspects - it worked well for a my mild spice fish burrito with poblano peppers. — 23 days ago
Oak black currant, vanilla, black fruits. Earthy, elegancy and complexity. Still 10 years. Expecting! Rausan Segla 13 @, Vin, 250626 — 22 days ago

Decanted prior to service; enjoyed over the course of several hours. This bottle of the 1964 pours a garnet color with significant rim variation; medium viscosity with light staining and significant signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with mostly tertiary notes at this point: cherry fruit leather, actual leather, decomposing log. On the palate, the wine is dry with tannin fully integrated and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. Alive…but this bottle is old and tired. Drink now. — 21 days ago
A fine example of Pauillac from an overlooked vintage, the 2012 d’Armailhac (from half bottle) offers a potent punch of graphite, fresh black fruits, leather and cedar. The palate has ample concentration and good harmony, with flecks of sweet fruit leading to a long and gratifying finish. This is pure, precise Pauillac and in a beautiful spot at 13 years of age.

Gorgeous nose! Grilled red pepper. Charcoal, thyme, warm earth. Pleasant, still quite rough tannins, iron and blood in the aroma, ink, iodine, sun-dried tomatoes, balsamic like acidity. Brilliant now, no rush. — 9 days ago
