Surprised ratings are low on this. I found it absolutely brilliant. Super smooth and great mouthfeel. Silky tannins, wonderfully balanced, ripe black fruit. — 15 days ago
Absolute banger tonight with a big steak. Needs 45+min to really shine. Then it was singing. Perfectly in balance, just ripe black fruit, supple tannins, med acidity. Firing on all cylinders, this is what wine should be. — a month ago
Trying some 2017 Napa cabs lately. This is another really good one for a tough year. Lots of life left year. Still a bit tight on open, but 30 minutes later drinking well. BlackBerry, cassis, graphite, black licorice, plum, wet stone. Lovely wine. Surprised by how good some of these 17s are aging. Excited to try them again in a few years. — 12 days ago
Deep dark and powerful. Dark fruit, blackcurrant, cassis. Oaky, earthy, iron ore. Big and bold. — 18 days ago
Wow, almost four years since my last bottle. Big wine! Tannins softened and chalky. Acidity still strong, yet still very balanced with just ripe dark fruit. Charcoal, pencils shavings, granite stone. Great mouthfeel. Long finish! Drinking better than my last bottle with many many years left. — a month ago
Enjoyed a 17 at dinner with friends. This wine is beautiful, as good as the 16 I had a couple weeks ago. Super soft silky tannins. Wonderfully balanced. Great mouthfeel. Like a 20 year old Paulliac. Loved it. — 12 days ago
It’s been 4 years since my last bottle of this 2016. Really softened up. Easy drinking tannins, well balanced. Dark fruit, blackberry, walnuts, baking spices, melted chocolate. Medium plus finish. Very nice. — 15 days ago
It’s been 4 years since my last bottle. This is a PNP and it’s amazing, not only for a 2017, but any year. Drinking wonderfully now. Structure is solid. Fruit is ripe. Just really good right now. — 21 days ago

Revisiting this after 3 years. Much more approachable. PNP for sure but develops nicely with air time. Fruit is ripe and sweet, red and black, tannins have softened, structure is solid. Nice mouthfeel, slightly chalky. Black cherry, oak, vanilla, black licorice. Smooth finish. — a day ago
