First time tasting the 2019 Bard. Big wine. Big ripe fruit - I’m getting mostly black with some red and hints of blue. Graphite. Lavender. Softened yet big chewy tannins. Acidity holding in strong at this point. Drinking well now with just a brief decant, but I can see this one really hitting a sweet spot in a few more years. — a month ago
Same comments as before, drinking so well right now. Great nose, lovely dark fruit, perfectly balanced. Great mouthfeel. Love it! — 3 months ago
Sweet black and red fruit, oaky, juicy mouthfeel. — 2 days ago
Less tannic and more fruit forward than what I would expect from a young Howell Mtn cab. Big red and black fruit, ripe, nice mouthfeel but the fruit is dominant. Pretty good deal though finding it at an HEB in Houston. — 5 days ago
Looks like this is my 6th rating of this wine. PNP drinking fantastic now. Super silky. Perfectly integrated, very ripe black and blue fruit. Lovely! — 2 months ago
Absolutely smoking PNP! Wow, will be fun to see this one develop over the next couple hours. But simply wonderful now. Very very dark in the glass. Blackberry preserves, camphor, wet graphite. Incredible mouthfeel, silky yet grippy tannins. Perfectly in tune now. Just a fantastically enjoyable wine! — 3 months ago
Quite enjoyable. Great find while on vaca at grocery store in Houston. — 5 days ago
My previous comments are still spot on. Absolutely incredible wine. Mouthfeel, nose, primary ripe blue and black fruit, secondary graphite, lavender, wet stone…balanced tannins and acidity…just drinking so good. Perfect with my grilled steak tonight. — a month ago
Incredible! In a great sport right now. Perfectly balanced. BlackBerry, cassis, some blueberry, tobacco, licorice. Great mouthfeel. Supple, yet expressive tannins. Nice finish. Drinking so well! — 3 months ago
