Gorgeous oak free 2018 Volnay Premier Cru enjoyed with finger food while enjoying this year’s Super Bowl. No notes this time, but it is an amazing pour. — 6 months ago
The 2023 Collosorbo Rosso Di Montalcino sports a beautiful, eye catching, red berry appearance with matching underlying aromatics and flavors.
A first class, cool weather sipping wine with a medium/full body, framed with brisk acidity and velvety tannins that, together, deliver a long lasting finish. Reminiscent of rich, Russian River Pinot Noirs. Should be perfect with tonight’s Kielbasa/roasted vegetables dinner. — 8 months ago
The softly textured, very dense 2020 Sociando is a gorgeous mouthful of rich, ripe, black fruits, medium plus acidity, powdery tannins and a very delicious long lasting finish.

Medium bodied, balanced, firmly structured with juicy acidity, and grippy, mouth coating tannins leading the way to a long finish. May need more shelf time or another hour or so aeration. — 5 months ago
Fruit forward Cabernet with structural assists from Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Eye catching, red/black fruit colors and confirming aromatics. Appealing, lush flavors of cherry, blue and blackberry, mocha and vanilla. Medium acidity and soft, mouth coating tannins at the finish. Overall, well balanced, medium/full, elegant and easy drinking.

This gorgeously textured Rosso should be ideal with tonight’s mushroom enhanced Risotto. The 2023 Fuligni is everything one would, or could, ask from a young Rosso di Montalcino.
Beautiful, deep garnet appearance; loads of primary red fruits and earthy woodland aspects; Medium>full, balanced and well structured with perfumed aromatics, juicy acidity and very fine tannins that finish long. @klwines

from the slopes of Sicily’s Mt Etna. Fruity, flavorful, balanced, and well structured, with a long lasting finish. Excellent with tonight’s roasted Halibut. — 4 months ago
Well structured, nicely balanced with an abundance of succulent red and black fruits, light mouth coating tannins at the tasty finish. A bit heftier than a Tuscan Chianti but it went well with a Kielbasa sausage and lentil soup. — 4 months ago
The delicious, smoothly textured, 2021 Justin Cabernet Sauvignon (Paso Robles) is intensely colored, nicely balanced, and well structured; medium>full, with an abundance of aromatic and flavorsome black fruits (Bing cherry, blackberry); refined with barrel aging notes (spice, vanilla, toast); and framed with medium acidity and smooth tannins at the mouth cleansing finish. Tasty stuff, and should be ideal with tonight’s wine-braised, beef short ribs and potato pancakes, Happy New Year from Napa Valley! — 7 months ago
