Blend of 83% Tempranillo, 9% Graciano, 6% Mazuelo (Cariñena) and 2% Garnacha, grapes and various plots fermented separately, aged for 20 months in American oak, then blended. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe black fruits and floral spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum with notes of leather, vanilla and oaky notes. 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. A 100% Cabernet Sauvignon selection from different steep, southwest-facing hillside plots from the 400-acre Truchard Estate Vineyard. A beautiful restrained Cab featuring cassis, dark chocolate, cedar wood, graphite, and some smokiness. Very fresh, with layers of juicy black fruits, a tight backbone of ripe tannin, and a very long mineral finish. Abv. 14,2%.
