Great weight, full GV with plenty of secondaries balanced by juicy fruits. Orange peel, peach, talcum, white pepper, flour, rocks. Finish just lingers around enticing another sip. Fun! — 10 years ago
The best Syrah I know. Grab a grilled steak and enjoy the long lasting finish. — 10 years ago
Smells of cherry oak and some light tobacco. Very full bodied with some port notes actually and smooth finish. Somewhat acidic and would do well with food. — 11 years ago
Excellent Napa cab at an affordable price. Great structure and pairs beautifully with a nice piece of smoked meat. — 12 years ago
It's really good but needs to be opened 1/2hour before you eat. — 13 years ago
1 hour plus decant. Dark red color. Nose contains graphite, black cherry, and some medicinal elements. Wine has more oak than expected but nice cherry fruit. Awesome texture and great depth. Medium plus finish. Not as good as the ‘12 I recently had, but still one of my favorite producers! — 6 years ago
Shiraz is my favourite type of wine. I have enjoyed my fair share... This wine is definitely up there! Enjoying it at home with a dear friend. — 7 years ago

I was skeptical at first...inky black and 15.3 ABV, but the wine is well balanced with plenty of freshness and lift. Just the ticket with tonight's daube de boeuf. — 10 years ago
Smooth- a little sweet- not much though — 11 years ago

Not a huge fan of Sauvignon Blanc, but this is fantastic. Crisp, but not just another simplistic Sauv Blanc, it has character. — 8 years ago
Always surprised by how long good wines can last. I would never have called it a 20yr old wine blind. Good balance and really came alive with the fruit after 1+ hours in the decanter. Good drinking window but can still hold off for a good 3-5yrs depending on how you like your Bordeaux. #happynewyear — 8 years ago
