Some days are better than others to pop a bottle of champagne and drink a toast. Today is one of those better days! Cheers! 🍾🥂
Excellent with roasted chicken & mash potatoes.
Meyer lemon, lemon meringue, lime w/ zest, red & green apples, hints of apple cider, kiwi, green melon, ginger ale, whipped cream, caramel notes, bread dough, yeasty notes, vanillin, alluvial limestone, sea spray, refined chalkiness, yellow lilies, spring flowers, round yet crisp acidity, well; balanced structured & tensioned. Elegant and smartly polished finish that lasts 90 seconds. From 375ml. — 10 days ago
Light gold in color. Corn and lemon oil with a marine note. Less complex than the Valmur but delicious, defined and has great balance. — 15 days ago
Orange tinged gold colour . Very fruit driven still , lots of yellow fruits , crystallised orange peel , clementines , vanilla , spiced apricots . On the palate quite rich and decadent , lots of ripe yellow fruits , apricot , peach and then mandarin and caramelised orange . Touches of honey , vanilla , creme brûlée. Slightly bitter caramel tinged finish , with good vibrant acidity, balanced alcohol , long and elegant finish . Tastes so young still , maybe having been recorked in 2005 has something to do with that . Drinking well now but will still be perfect in another 20-30 years — 10 days ago
Pale gold. Aromas of green apple, pear, citrus, and yeast. On the palate - toast, brioche, honey. Brut with nice bubbles. Crisp acidity, full-body. Major producer champagne that delivers on quality and value.

Popped and poured; enjoyed a single glass from a bottle that had been opened for over an hour. The 2015 “Gravonia” pours a deep straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with charming oxidative notes of black lemon, honeydew, tumeric, and nuts. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long with a sort of waxy texture. Distinctive and delicious. Damn, I love these wines. Drink now through 2035. — 5 days ago
