So,so bright, concentrated & clear. Fennel, endive, & rum soaked apples on nose ( tasted blind a friend thought Jura ); on palate more of those freshly cut vegetables with more apple and underripe pear notes. Intense. And so young. So many miles to go. I always never buy enough of Chidaine, to my regret. But drinking at any stage is so mesmerizing. Like a shooting star. — 2 months ago

Great everyday wine. Blackberry. Fresh. — a month ago
Textbook #loirevalley #cabernetfranc, this one from #touraine ; It was late in the evening after happy hour so notes are a bit more approximate than usual. 😜 Pyrazines active, green pepper notes, shy black/purple fruit, soft tannins and a vegetal earthiness on the palate. It could have been served cooler by the bar but nice night cap nonetheless. — 3 months ago
Reliable, balanced acidity and fruit. $22 on March 2024. — 2 months ago
Well balanced acidity and sweetness. Melon and peach on the nose, with notes of peach, melon, minerality, and slight wet wool. — 3 months ago
Lovely smell and full mouthfeel. A real kick from the tannins to end it off (a tad too much without food). — 6 months ago

Deep garnet color with a hint of brick. Leather and black cherry on the nose very subdued alcohol. Earthy notes at first then dried orange peel dried montmorancy cherry leather and a bit of smoke. Have one more in the cellar which I will wait 2-5years to open. Thanks to Eric Brown for recommending this lovely cab franc — a month ago
