2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted after two hours. Medium body. Leaning heavily towards a feminine-styled Cabernet and has dropped nearly all of the braggadocio of youth. As mentioned with another reviewer @Jay Kline not even close to being as exciting as the producer’s Les Pavots bottling and fairly one-dimensional. More than a bit disappointing given the initial acclaim. 05.29.25. — 3 months ago
5/2025. Bold flavor and finish. Very nice to drink. — 3 months ago
This one is a showstopper. Complex and big. Heavy but with grace. Some really nice cab sauv components (88%) but you definitely get the petit Verdot (12%) too. Cassis, plum, blackberry fruits lead out but with some smoked cigar and tobacco leaf that is undeniable. Graphite and menthol. Its balanced perfectly with firm tannins and large acidity. Persists for a while. Gotta end the night with this one. — 7 months ago
1 hour decant(some fine/cloudy sediment). A splendid dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: expressive notes of dark brambly fruit, currants, floral, milk chocolate, planting soil, and eucalyptus. Taste: silky, jammy mouthcoating wine with dark plum/cherry, earth, licorice, dark chocolate, and a long graphite/coffee ground finish. YUM! — 4 months ago

This is a delicious and robust wine at Sweet T’s with Claudie and David — 6 months ago
Delicious. This had a lot of fruit while still maintaining depth and a bit of complexity.
Tannins were present but not too strong.
Overall very smooth — 3 months ago
This has softened considerably since my last bottle several years ago. Nose is complex, with earth, cedar, cigar box, and an incense-like note. In the mouth, it’s rich but medium-bodied. The tannins that were so prominent a few years ago have significantly resolved. Entering (finally) its drinking window. — 5 months ago
Needed more time to open than I gave it initially. Bold oak and blackberry over leather. — 3 months ago
Good but not as great as the previous one. — 3 months ago
Finally i bought a Cabernet Sauvignon with the richness of a Bordeaux. A beautiful, powerful, complex steak wine. Cranberry, earth, tar, leather, and spice. Smooth and elegant with smooth bitter tannins in the finish. — 5 months ago
