Really fine juice. Gorgeous, unmistakable Pinot aromatics. Creamy strawberry, wild cherries and raspberries. Wet leaves and forest decay. Palate is smooth, silky, and creamy in character with oak in the right place. Polished. Called Sonoma Pinot blind. Hella’ tasty. — 2 months ago
I used an Ah-So which ended up being merely a precaution since the top of the cork looked a bit dry. Turns out it was fine. Acidity was stunning at 15 years, some dried fruit on top of cherry compote with ethereal traces of tannins at the end. Delicious SRH Pinot Noir. Miles Raymond would definitely approve! 😉 — 4 months ago
13.6% ABV. Medium density red color. Red fruit jumps from glass, primarily cherry. Nice wine. — 4 months ago
IMO it’s the perfect amount of dry. We had it with seasoned, baked chicken. A delicious offering in the $35 range (at time of rating). — 5 months ago
Overripe cherries, floral notes, lingering finish, medium-bodied, high alc for Pinot — a month ago
Ruby color, purple edges, with aromas of ripe fruits, floral and complex spice, aged for 16 months on French oak, 58% new, vineyard planted in 1991. On the palate concentrated flavors of strawberry and black cherry with orange citrus, herbs, vanilla and oak, soft tannins on well balanced structure. Full body, rich long finish, ending with fruit, vanilla, floral, spice and oaky tones. Very Nice! Will age! — 2 months ago
nose: pineapple, toasted almond, lemon curd. soft bubbles, bright orange — 3 months ago
We had the 2015 Vintage on 1/3-5/25. Medium bodied. An excellent Pinot Noir. Nice mouthfeel. Black cherry blackberry and Asian spice. Really good — 4 months ago
Jammy and fruity, raspberry flavor, light and smooth, better whe let to breathe and paired with charcuterie. — 4 months ago
Lovely. Yeast, lemon, apple, and a bit of minerality. — 5 months ago
2023 vintage. Maan, do I feel old reviewing this! Sourced from some eminently notable vineyards. Wine rolls up and down and back up again throughout the palate...almost as if you are tasting each vineyard source as stages vs a blend. Def interesting. Light-medium body. May hafta pick this up as a list placement as it is drinking nicely. Absolutely blowing through Oregon pinot tho. Resto pricing at $19 btg (waay too low) and woulda jumped on it but have another CA pinot currently btg that's an even better deal. 11.27.24. — 5 months ago
Crafted by Joseph J. Wagner, 4th generation winemaker, with winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas, tea and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry and cherry with pronounced sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Soft tannins and bright acidity, well balanced, with mineral tones on a long finish ending with toasty spice! Nice! — 2 months ago
Excellent Pinot but I think inferior to the Tetarossa lineup — 2 months ago
Low in tannin, nice acidity. Restrained fruit. — 2 months ago
Genuinely good Pinot. Owned by Duckhorn portfolio but still low key. A superscript wine, especially for the price and region. — 4 months ago
Very smooth, not tannic at all. Slightly unripe black grapes. — 5 months ago

Took a bit of time for the funk to blow off but once it did it was drinking nicely. Not much life left though, but amazing a California Pinot could last this long. — a month ago
