Still a baby but oh what a beautiful wine. Wonderful aromas of cherries and spices. Have to revisit this in 5-6 yrs, another stellar Hirsch bottling by Ted Lemon.

Still so Young but after an hour or so in a decanter the wine is lovely on the nose. This is as close as you can get a sick expensive grand cru burgundy red but from Sonoma. But not even close to be Burgundy expensive. So pure, so lingering, so extremely fine tuned, beautiful smooth tanins, red berries and a lovely Californian herbal/mineral note. Just got to Love this! Buy all you can get! πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ·

A young wine with great potential. The nose had great intensity and complexity. It was compact and concentrated. The palate followed the nose showing great complexity with perfectly ripened red and black fruit, herbs, spices, and a delicious savory quality. The structure was strong, well balanced and age worthy. Great length to the finish. #littorai #hirschvineyard #sonomacoast #pinotnoir #ctbucklinwine

Pretty, with depth, and nice brambly-earthiness to ground the richness.

Good balance of fruit and earth. Nose is a little shy at first. Tannins holding back some of the fruit. Needs a bit more time.

Great bottle. A lifted bright cherry quality that’s so easy to like yet still quite tense and serious.
