Estate Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir

This is a big Pinot - ripe, luscious and smooth. Decanted for 1 hour. Couldn't believe how dark the wine was. Everyone enjoyed this.

This is the sexiest wine always a great show from Gary Pisoni.

So a muted Pinot flavor. I want to say a hint of effervescence but that’s not really true. It’s the acidity showing itself a bit more than it has in other bottles or due the food we had (spicy)... It’s distracting me a bit from the other flavors. The nose is different. I don’t want to say smoke but something is different on this one.

Rich, juicy without being heavy, this 2011 has aged well…I’m struck by how much darker it’s profile has become with age…a joy to share with friends

No more buying wine until I drink these old ones. Lolz

Not as big as prior notes; continues to be a well balanced and crafted Pinot
