Dry cork & a little lean. Tried to aerate, but still not as chewy as previous 07’s. Still didn’t suck 😃 — 25 days ago
Another NYE magnum, to kickoff 2022 & begin dryuary. I’ll spend the next month scrubbing my purple teeth from this grapey beast. :)
Dry cork, but decanted & delicious. It is interesting that many of my 15+ yr corks crumble, yet the wine is fine 90% of cases)? — 7 months ago
I rarely drink white wine, but this was a special occasion w/ both daughters in town. Grgich is a quality, consistent pour - most of all, I’ve had it thru the yrs & shared those memories w/ my girls. I guess I should rate the wine (9.2) but the nite was a 10. Keep in mind that all these wine ratings are more dependent on who we happen to be consuming with & the occasion. — 22 days ago
Surprisingly big, bold & fruitful! 15yrs old, but not a snide teenager - full of body & balanced chewy leather/cocoa. Zichichi is a great value! — 3 months ago
What a huge surprise! 2012 still kicking hard! Big, juicy, syrupy…This was terrific - can’t wait to get more. — 5 months ago
So tasty - served w/ grilled, hoisin sauce chicken thighs. Very nice - great body & berry fruit still! — 25 days ago
Very tasty & well-structured, but at nearly $80-85/btl, I was expecting more. Hate to sound chincy, but there are a lot of surprising $30 btls & I’d gladly try 3 of those for the KB price tag. Had it w/ grilled salmon & grilled squid steak - well matched & held up w/ marinades. — 3 months ago
Nice for the price. Decent depth & finish. A little closed on palette. — 5 months ago
