Surprisingly youthful & vigorous for this age.
Dried cherries on the nose with some tobacco, turned earth, tomato leaf, a bit of leather & a touch of black tea. Enticing, complex, fresh.
On the palate this showed some energy! The tannins polished, smooth but still with quite a grip, the acidity shining, the fruit slowly fading but still there. Brilliant length and character. — 25 days ago

Nose is expressive - cherry, plum, graphite, spice, lavender.

Tastes like cherry and dark fruit, minerals, tobacco.

Full bodied, rich and intense.
