Costco, $15
Wow wish I had more time to review this, very nice! Lots of tobacco, vegetal, and jammy fruits on the nose. Full bodied, great balance, with chocolate, rich fruit, and fragrant maybe slightly menthol herb notes. I loved it and from my limited experience it was one of the most unique wines I've had. Hope they still have it at Costco when I go back! — 9 months ago

I didn't have much expectations after the nose, a little funky and very average. But on the palate I found bursting tropical flavors - primarily pineapple with some nice bright citrus acidity. For me it was the perfect balance of dry and sweet. Really really nice for the price, honestly one of my favorite white wines I've had — a year ago

Tons of juicy blackberry and some green notes on the nose. More blackberry and a little spice on the palate, nice bright acidity, very tannic but not abrasive. Really enjoyed this, I've only had a couple really poor quality montepulciano before so this was eye opening on what the grape can offer. — a year ago

Bursting with tropical flavors, lots of pineapple and guava, almost reminds me of POG juice. Balanced with a crisp acidity and very easy to drink. Amazing for the price, I immediately went back and grabbed 2 more bottles — 4 months ago

Complex fruit, not too much oak, really nice — a year ago

First thing I notice is how pale the color is, it looks like a dark rosé, with a brick red color. Nose is very aromatic candied fruit punch, reminds me of some Beaujolais I've had. Very light bodied but flavorful with lots of juicy fruit. Nice bright acidity but not too much, and mild smooth tannins. I drank it too fast to get more detailed notes but I couldn't help it, this is like an even lighter Beaujolais so it is right up my alley and I absolutely loved it. It's unfortunate it seems like an uncommon grape variety and it's more known for its sweet reds. I'll have to keep an eye out. — a year ago

Cloudy in the glass and nose of slight smokey oak and juicy berries. Super soft tannins on the palate, nice acidity, bright juicy mouth watering berries, oak is super well integrated and barely noticable. A little bit of anise sweetness and spice. Of all the Portuguese wines I've had this one reminds me the most of port. Absolutely loved it! — 4 months ago

Great Washington grenache, mineral and subtle oak — a year ago
Peter Koff's greatwine2u, $16
Nose of smoke, leather, and rich concentrated prune and dried blueberry. Bold and concentrated, decently complex of leather, dried blueberry, a little smoke and some of the sangiovese tomato notes. Has nice acidity that is crucial in balancing the rich jammy notes. I didn't care for it on opening but 2-3 days later it really opened up. It's not my typical style I like, but it's quality and quite complex and nicely balanced! — a year ago

Really really nice Dolcetto. Clean, light, well balanced. Fresh red fruits with that classic bitter almond note on the finish. — 3 months ago
