Fresh, elegant, ready to go. — 5 months ago
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and a splash of Cabernet Franc, deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, floral spice and smoky cedar notes, aged 12 months in 60% new barrels. On the palate flavors of fresh blackberry, plum and black cherry with cacao, tobacco, licorice and smoky spice. Fine grainy tannins, well balanced on long finish, ending with fruit, cedar, smoke and earthy mineral character. Very nice, but needs a few more years of bottle age to really enjoy! — 7 months ago
Quite good. Needs a 1 hour decant or 18 months in the bottle.

Tremendous wine. Such an underdog at Cruchandeau. Glorious nose of florals, bright cherry fruit, some funk, now black cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Just terrific. Palate is opulent and incisive at the same time. Juicy with terrific acidity and engaging freshness that really extends the finish. Really well made and belies the level. Thrilling fruit as usual here. — 7 months ago
Blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc, deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, smoke and flinty notes, aged 40% new French oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with cacao, cedar, espresso and spicy notes. Lively acidity, firm dusty tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, tobacco and spicy oak. Needs a little more time in bottle. — 8 months ago

Beautiful wine, decant before hand for the best nose. — 4 months ago
Medium deep ruby garnet , with quite narrow garnet rim . This is quite closed at first , with some dusty , mineral , seaside hints . Cassis , cedar , blackberry , charcoal and a touch of toasty oak . On the palate this is again quite four square and serious , dusty blackberry , cassis, cedar , grafite . Quite linear in style , fresh acidity and quite fine but noticable tannin . A lightly saline , grafite tinged medium length finish . This is drinking well at the moment , quite classic in style but with enough polish and mid palate . Will probably continue to show well over the next 5-10 years . — 5 months ago

Dense dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.
Fruity nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, licorice, chocolates, spices, dark coffee, vegetables, herbs and black pepper.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate and fruit forward with blackberries, black currants, black plums, tobacco leaf, cedar, light earth, spices, dark coffee, herbs, dark chocolates, peppercorn and black tea.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious 15 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from the great 2010 vintage in Bordeaux. Rich and extracted. Complex and engaging. Powerful and spicy.
Showing nice complexity with a great mouthfeel. Fruit forward and interesting.
Drinking very nicely now and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food, like a big piece of steak.
A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. Aged in (60% new) French Oak barrels for 21 months.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
93 points.

The side label says this is from the Grands Cras lieu dit. This definitely smells and tastes like a low or no sulfite “natural” wine. Not so much because of any barnyard notes, but because of how juicy and bright the “just crushed” Gamay juiciness jets out of the glass. There’s some nice granitic minerality too. The flavors seem to change with each sip. Bright, deep, lively, and playful. Really fun wine. BTW, there was a surprising amount of very floaty, almost Pinot Noir-like sediment in the bottle. I double-decanted to get rid of it and poured a couple of tablespoons of those dregs in the chicken braise I’m making. — 10 months ago
