In one word-wow. The integration of fruit, acid, tannins and oak are outstanding. One to hold for at least 5 years. This is stunning.

And on it goes. We like this a lot, but it’s a bit simple tonight. Maybe a bit “quiet”? Hope everyone is enjoying....

Huge black currant. Dark graphite. Really nicely balanced. Rich and silky.

This is a great effort for a second label wine. The nose is all flowers and fruit. Some vanilla and some cinnamon. Very elegant. I get coffee notes and some dark chocolate on the finish. A lovely wine for the keeping.

Decanted 1.5hrs. The color is deep deep red. The nose is strong prunes and dark cherry. On the palate it's immediately hot and the funky fruit is evident. Prunes. Plums. Vegetables. Some wet mud and ash and chalk at the end. A finish that makes you come back though. Pretty. A nice 2nd wine in a great year.

Nice earth and barnyard funk; smells and tastes French. Tannins have softened and drinking this makes you want to eat steak or lamb.
