Still got ripping acidity, great green apple and some mandarin orange, ends with a rockin marcona almond finish. My kinda finish. I finished is what I’m saying. — 2 years ago
I used to like the winery a lot, but recent experience has been mediocre at best. But this RRV chard is very good.
The fragrant nose offers vibrant citrus, green apple, and white peach with a touch of yeast and touch of crushed seashell. The palate is lively with nice texture that leans just lightly towards creaminess. 6 months in 49% stainless, 46% new French oak and 6% in concrete eggs. — 5 months ago
If you think all Aussie Chardonnay is big, rich & buttery, try this antidote.
Fresh, crisp with crunchy green apple & green papaya. Some underripe apricots, too.
On the palate this is juicy, fresh with vibrant acidity. Quite light on alc (12.5%) and light on the exotic fruit.
Would not call it Burgundian but it’s highly drinkable and surprisingly nice. — 6 months ago
Pale straw . Lemon and lime with some petrol hints ,green herbs , white flower notes as well . Light bodied with high acidity , green apple , lime and grapefruit . Very fresh , high acidity , leaves the palate very fresh , lively . Touch of fresh green herbs on the ok length finish . Would prefer to leave this 2 or 3 years , just to fill out a little more in the bottle and will last well a further 10 or so . — a year ago

Though young and subdued the wine wakes with an hour in a decanter revealing white flower aromas, lemon, apple, subtle oak elements, white peach and light green herbs. Loads of minerality, crisp high acidity and a compact form that only becomes more opulent with time. A terrific wine. — 8 days ago
