The winery’s entry level Sangiovese bottling. Aged 15 months in second-use French oak for 2020 vintage, it delivers a darker-fruited profile while preserving Sangiovese’s classic character. A versatile, crowd-pleasing choice and pairs especially well Northern Italian pasta dishes. — a month ago
Medium ruby with quite a terracotta , garnet rim . Quite sweetly spiced nose , red cherries , cedar , dried spice and some strawberry coulis , earthy undertones . Pretty young and fruit forward at the moment . This is quite elegant and perfumed on the palate with lots of fresh red fruits , cedar and dried sage . Balanced acidity and ripe but slightly grippy tannins . This has good length and a saline finish . Quite young still but enjoyable at the moment , will continue to show well over the next 10 years , maybe more. At Doppo restaurant, Soho . — 2 months ago
First bottle of a half case we bought at the domaine in 2021. Definitely will be better in a few years but nice to try one on the earlier side. What they say is true - this is really easily Brunello level. At this point the nose isn’t giving a ton, but there is great depth of fruit and earth on the palate. This hits in several more parts of the mouth than most wines and the finish goes on for quite a while. Medium plus tannins and acid which should balance out a bit with some more age.
Opened the bottle 5 hours prior to service and then decanted for 2. Real candidate to be 9.5+ in a few years. — 3 days ago
I really enjoyed this wine. It was the bottle that introduced me to wine drinking. A nice beginner one for me at least. — a month ago

Not too many Sangiovese roses in my life. This is good. As it warms it gets much more earthy and vegetal. A lot of red watermelon, but overall savory. Pretty great with bbq. I’m guessing not so great with lighter fare or to crush over an afternoon. — 2 months ago

Weird - yes, but interesting - also yes. Rose petal aromas with hotpot spices (fennel, black cardamom, star anise?), muted red fruit - more pomegranate than strawberry. — 9 days ago
