Great wine. Definitely worth trying again but I felt this was a bit one dimensional. A lot of pear, white fruit and slight apple, brioche and with slight acidity and but didn't change much after. I tried in 2025 so its 17 years old so maybe its past its peak or its waning but its my first wine of this age so maybe i need to try more. Either way, it's a delicious wine — 25 days ago

(I took a stock pic and asked the wrong one!) A powerful and decadent nose. Bloody deep plum, black cherry, tar. Young and tightly wound. Excellent material- a way to go. — 8 months ago
Yup a new one to me and it’s well proportioned and lively on palate with well aged ripe fruits and earthy. Tasty! — 21 days ago
Pop and pour (practically) — can’t be helped.
NOSE: something savory, blackberry, and a little violet. Mild clove. A little clay. Something…Mexican?
TASTE: juicy, purple cassis and clay. Fresh and tasty. The kind of wine I like, basically. Blueberry pie after air. 93.
