Blend of Merlot (80%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of dark cherries and plums with a hint of barnyard funk. More plum on the palate with additional notes of balsamic vinegar and a light touch of vanilla on the long and luxurious finish. Full bodied and quite rich. Velvety texture and tannins. So easy to drink. — 2 months ago

A great Chardonnay! It could make a Chardonnay drinker out of me. Wonderful floral aromas. Flavors of peach, honeysuckle and apple blossom. — 2 months ago

2014 vintage. This is the rouge. Last (proper bottle not compromised) tasted 3.2.23 (9.3). From Coravin. Lost the baby fat. Still medium/medium-heavy body but really starting to embrace and pump out leaner flavors. Underrated producer (the white doesn’t suck either) and the wines are underpriced relative to the market. Plenty of further development expected. May even bump up a notch on the next visit. 5.9.24. — 23 days ago
