This 20 year old 375ml is still in good condition. Ripe black cherries, black plums, and cedar wood shavings. — 4 months ago
Winemaker dinner at Nari. This was clearly young and tasted next to the 2011 missing the depth of maturity — 4 months ago
2021. Drove to Omaha to attend an Arnot-Roberts wine class and tasting, and got there early to enjoy some delicious oysters with a bottle of fantastic Chardonnay that wasn’t on the tasting list. Unfortunately, Nathan Roberts flights were delayed and the class was cancelled, but we’re going home with a bunch of tasty wines instead! — 6 months ago
Brian’s favorite. Very smooth, but not as much taste as you might want — 9 months ago
Quite nice. Barn yardy… amazing. — 3 months ago
Winemaker dinner at Nari. Fabulous and if not tied for WOTN it might win in some cases. — 4 months ago
Wow! Even better than a few months ago. Olives, blueberries, game, forest, pepper, plums. It’s interesting having this a few days after storm Syrah. Very similar. Love that there are more of these us syrahs with good fruit but balance. Central coast style. — 5 months ago
Cranberry, strawberry, sassafras. Chocolate cupcake. High toned. Light bodied. Easy to drink. With depth and character. Very good! — 7 months ago
Named after Colene’s great granddaughter, medium Ruby color with aromas of berry fruit and nutty spice aromas. On the palate flavors of ripe strawberry and cherry fruit with tea and licorice notes, lively acidity with herb spices. Long finish, fine tannins, ending with mineral tones. Nice, small production. — 8 months ago

Well-made single varietal cabernet grown near Monte Bello. Smooth blackberry and graphite. Round and medium weight mouthfeel. Less complexity given the single varietal but made with finesse. — 7 months ago

I’m so torn on this wine, my first from Kutch. I was lured by a Gordon’s offer calling it Kutch-Dury, so you can imagine the curiosity. It was rich, complex, long, and pure, with no oak or sweetness. Fruit and earth only. And yet…it’s also heavy. On day 2, I could only drink one sip, although I didn’t have the right food on hand. (Just Trader Joe’s fritos, which are otherwise awesome imo.) — 2 months ago
