Called savigny-les-beaune. Poopy, menthol, dog ear, beet salad. — 5 months ago
2012 vintage drunk late 2025. It holds up. Thirteen years old and still fresh and delicious. Sadly my last bottle. It will be missed. — 7 months ago
Excellent! It took very little time to breathe which was unexpected for a 2011. We will be buying more of this if we can find it. — 2 years ago
Consistently great value grower pink bubbles. Very crisp and mineral, a bit austere at this point, a lot of the sumptuous fruit has faded to leave chalk, some cranberry, and red grapefruit peel and pith.
Disgorged 2019, base 2015 wine. — 4 years ago
Great champagne blend with sharp bubbles and toasted caramel notes. Some green apple. Excellent especially at $25. — 7 years ago

[60% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Cinsault, 5% Carignan, 5% Mourvedre] Still very grapey and primary, I actually tasted this wine in barrel in May of 2019 at the Chateau, and it tastes like it’s barely evolved since then, great acid, ripe, round tannins, long, lingering finish, this should easily age another 10 years based on my history of tasting this cuvée since the 1998!! — 4 months ago
Initially strong sulphidic aromas of the struck match variety. A mineral chalky streak on the palate with grilled nuts, citrus and a little white peach. Medium plus palate length and another great effort, particularly for a Village wine, from the “enfant terrible” of Burgundy, Henri Boillot. As an aside, from a retired printer, I love the graphics and typefaces used in this label. — 6 months ago
One of the best Sauvignon Blancs I’ve ever had. — 7 months ago
Great wine combining southern burgundy richness, use of luxurious oak, great acidity and low alc levels. Wonder how this ages.. Tx @Jan A for pointing this one out!. — 7 months ago
Enjoyed it for Christmas 2022 for the aperitif with blinis caviar and scallops bacon — 4 years ago
Stephens day tipple... Beautiful — 6 years ago
Unfortunately a faulty bottle showing Premox. Unattractive nose - Oxidative and dirty. A second bottle opened which was brilliant and one of the wines of the bracket. One would be rightly pissed off to part with $1145 AUD for the first bottle. My score here based on 2nd bottle. @Delectable this is the Batard — 7 years ago
Has always been my favorite. Need to drink up over the next 12-24 months. — 11 years ago

Ruby with aromas of cherry, blueberry, strawberry, and some earthiness. Smooth with a long finish. On the bud, cherry and stewed fruits. — 4 months ago
