Must love roasted veggies. But this has shed some of its oak and youthful reduction. In a good spot with another 5-10 years of interest. — 5 months ago
Had at Lay line restaurant last week. W loved. With salmon. One of best Marlborough yet. — 3 months ago
Fantastic tempranillo with exactly what you want: easy-drinking and fruit-forward on the front with some tannic lingering at the finish. — 5 months ago
Balvenie Doublewood 12yr - the nose is light with a hint of wood. On the palate you get a bit more power and a full mouth warmth. Finish gives you more of that wood and heat. It’s a good, easy drinker. Won’t go out of my way to get but wouldn’t feel bad if given a dram. — a month ago
Medium ruby in color; cherries, tomato leaves, and woodsmoke on the nose;high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like red currants, black cherries, and balsamic with a long finish. — 2 months ago

As a nod to Karen (who some will remembered worked at Louis M. Martini decades ago—and is the nicest and best person to ever work in the wine industry) we opened this for my birthday. Paired it with a Tri Tip. It was a nice pairing. Good cab. It was better a couple years ago but still nice to drink for a special occasion. — 3 days ago
