Probably first had in 2016 or 2017. Always a favorite. — a month ago
October 2022 Echelon Wine Bar club pick — a month ago
translucent garnet, watery rim; aromatics develop slowly, wild berries, dried cranberry, orange peel, mushrooms, hints of pine needles; light to medium body, dry, medium+ acidity, light tannin, 12.6% ABV; aged 16 months in 30% new French oak; a respectable and balanced wine from the rainy and uneven 2013 vintage — 4 months ago
Cheap restaurant glass.
NOSE: dark berries and a little bbq spice. (?)
TASTE: not bad! Velvety blueberry and chocolate - but not the icky cheap red blend kind. 89. — 2 months ago
Amazing Walla Walla Syrah at the winery. — 3 months ago
At first it taste like any other higher end natty red wine. I would have believed it was Carignan or Pais no problem. But with air things came together and it’s started to actually taste like Gamay, with sweet red berries, pink peppercorn, and woodsy earth. High acid, long finish. Good, but not great. — 4 months ago
