10’Lail Mole Hill. Nose of spring flowers. Blackberry, black currant, white chocolate. Classic Howell with age. BIG middle palate, runs right through the back. Just starting to show its age. Touch of sweet tannins, low acidity. Won’t get any better. Enjoy over the next 5/8 years. — 24 days ago
14’ HDV YSABEL Pinot Noir.
Van der Kemp Vineyard(30 acres) sit high on top of Sonoma Mt.
Hi streak of acidity at first. Tart & tangy…Dried raspberries, ripe cherries, black tea, forest pine, asian spices emerge from this plush finish. Needs a 3-4 hour decanting.
Edit- This will remain memorable long after the bottle is gone. — 9 days ago
17’ Aubert Lauren Chardonnay. Full -bodied rich & graceful.
Apricot, pear, orange marmalade. Racy acidity that should calm down in the next year. Without a doubt one of the most dense layered & textured chards coming out of Cali. Consistently, year end & year out can’t miss Chardonnay. Drink or hold for another decade. — 19 days ago
