2021 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 30 minutes at approximately 55 degrees. Medium body. Powerful core of acidic/citric concentration swaddled by delicate lanolin and oak. Textbook essential Chablis yet clinical and complicated. Spectacular. 2.25.26. — 4 months ago

2000. Side by side with Clos. This came across fresher, younger (label was pristine, as opposed to damp/stained Clos label) with more exoticism but less sheer impact and minerality. — 11 years ago
2012 vintage. Wonderful. — 12 years ago
Medium lemon core . Some ripe pear , citrus, white flowers , light white peach and red apple notes also with just a touch of toastiness. Quite ripe and generous on the nose . On the palate this is also generous in style , creamy ripe pear and lightly honied apple , white peach , though there are some more chalky , seashell elements that turn up on the finish . This is quite rounded but has enough energy and acidity to balance well, alcohol is also balanced , and there is a light saline hint also on the moderate length finish . This is drinking well now and I don’t see it being particularly long lived , so best over the next 5 years or so — 4 months ago
Stunning. Dauvissat perfection. 2012 Clos is perfect tonight, with more fruit definition than Preuses as expected from the site. It’s textural, chiseled and powerful with Chablisen oyster shell minerality layered in a tidal wave of spiced orchard fruit and white flowers. It’s incredibly silky on the palate showing killer volume and density with racy citrusy acids and a sea spray-like salinity to round it out. When Dauvissat is on it’s hard to beat. And this is still young. — 4 months ago
Выпито 02.01.26 half bottle за обедом с Ирой. Очень очень достойное шардоне 2022 года. — 6 months ago
Jasmine, quince paste, spiced pear, lemon curd, pineapple sweetness, punchy. Touch of lemon pith at end, but tons of juicy acid. Creamy / lactic. Chalky minerals. Layered, delicious, weighty.

Delicious! Has held up over the years and shows really nicely this afternoon. Zippy, concentrated, seashelly. Great look for a village wine — 10 years ago
Really impressive! Intensity. Density. Length. Yum. — 11 years ago

This is my entrance into the world of Chablis. Don't know how it took me so long, but I've also never seen Top Gun 🤷♂️ This wine has a supple mouthfeel despite it's bright acidity on the back of my tongue. Flavors of lemon and peach, with plenty of minerality on the finish. Thanks to my friends who gave recommendations- this is the first one from your lists that I found locally. Sorry we took over your comment section, @Doug Powers !

Pale lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and herb notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and lemon citrus with notes of honey and spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity, nice balance ending with lemon citrus and mineral character. Good now! — 6 months ago
Just hanging in there with oxidation showing! Still, pairing well with fish dinner. — 8 months ago

The most striking thing about this wine was the very creamy, buttery brioche flavors, along with lemon and pear. Apparently achieved through natural malolactic fermentation, along with extended lees contact. No oak (yay!). Well balanced with nice crisp acidity. Age maybe accounts for the lovely gold hints in the color? All around delish! — 7 years ago
Delicious in 375. Showing well already — 10 years ago
Elegant. Rich, citrus, tropics, a touch of oak. Good acid, well balanced. Begs for a crab cake. Delicious. — 11 years ago
Doesn't disappoint. Starting to come into its own. More interrelated than earlier bottles. Delis. — 12 years ago

My favorite Raveneau vintage and 2004 is absolutely pristine showing everything you could want from the legend—Captivating aromatics, a powerful, voluminous and waxy textured palate that comes with age, racy lemony acids and crystalline minerality. Not only is this brilliant vintage chiseled and laser focused but there is tremendous richness, weight and density. Finish just stays with you. The best showing I’ve had from the Forêt vineyard. — 3 months ago
