fairly fine perlage, good complexity, slightly liqueur-like. A windy Sunday with my love @Stefano Fazzari — a month ago
I really liked it, enjoyed the kiwi and Stone fruit notes. Also the heavier weight. Kyle said it was too tangy for him. 😕 — 20 days ago

2nd tasting of this vintage. Full body, this 100% Trebbiano di Lugana, from 50 years old vines shows a light golden color, nose of flowers and oak, on the palate it is rich and balanced. Went well with the grilled fish. — 5 days ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of three days. Best on Day 1 and 2. The 2017 Inferno, Fiamme Antiche pours a deep garnet color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart fruit: Morello cherry, roses, espresso, leather, alpine herbs and granitic earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Elegant and ever so lovely. Drink now through 2037. Delicious, crisp and fruity, underpinned by the buttery richness of the Chardonnay. — 3 months ago
