ripe red berries, stone fruit, honeyed toast, and a creamy finish — 2 months ago
This is my last bottle of 3 and wish I had more… this has been consistently excellent and has taken on a dark gold color with toasted brioche notes while maintaining its lip smacking acidity don’t hesitate to drink it should you have the opportunity to enjoy it — 2 months ago

Medium lemon yellow fine , persistent perlage . Quite rich and ripe on the nose with some roasted nuts , lemon peel , some camomile , still quite restrained and a little closed. On the palate again quite full and rich , ripe lemon fruit , orange rind , roasted nuts and a creamy mouthfeel , certainly enough acidity to balance but on the richer side . Good length and lightly toasty finish . This is good now but will probably improve over the next few years and last well a further 5-10 . — a month ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The “Grand Cellier” pours a pale straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of bright, tart fruit: green apple, star fruit, Meyer lemon, a whiff of brioche, and chalky, limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. I freaking love Vilmart. Drink now through 2038. Disgorged December of 2018. — 4 days ago
