Earthwormy cherry. Inexpensive. 88. — 23 days ago
Super light and simple … but no off tastes. Better than most cheap stuff. 88. — a month ago
Pop and pour, This stuff is consistently good and true to style and a high value. Cherry, cassis, toffee and bitter chocolate tannins, some savoury herbs, leaves. Would love to age it a bit. 89…plus. — 2 months ago
Simple but good — acidity makes it better than the $15 reserve TJ’s Barbera I tried recently … but this was only $6? Like it better than last time for sure. Will definitely try again! — 6 days ago
A little anonymous — maybe over the hill- but tastes like old (good) wine. Still medium acidity — what fruit there is tastes anonymously “red” and like (dried) fig. Thinned out. Some of the stylistic pine. Oldest wine I’ve tried. 90. — 15 days ago
I would have guessed Brunello rather than Barolo — a little lighter than expected. Granite, rose, violet, red fruit, Italianate acidity - but not overly complex. Enjoyable. Just squeaks into 91. Not a great value for the $35 I paid. — 10 days ago
Close to pop and pour. Not juicy, but lots of red fruit — strawberry, raspberry, cherry (the pits). Also plum. Some leather. Minerals and clay. A little violet. Dried rose petals. Still has some grip — plum-skin-like. Acidity balances it all very nicely. Really good. 92. — 2 months ago

NOSE: rich, earthy berries.
TASTE: a little more one dimensional than expected, but still quite good — perhaps it is just “subtle” and “young.” Clearly “Wine” with a capital W. Earthy berries as the nose — the fruit became much fresher with air (1-2 hours). Should be much nicer in a few years. 92. — 13 hours ago
