Les Monts Du Roy

Domaine Sylvain Pataille

Clos du Roy Marsannay Pinot Noir 2019

Too bad that more people have discovered the wines of Sylvain Pataille. Still well priced but more competitive to buy them. — 11 days ago

Gérard Boulay

Monts Damnés Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Rounded and quite plush on the nose. A little whiff of age… rounded and still quite fresh. Lacks the cut of the younger wines — 3 months ago

Roy Piper

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Great fruit even at this age. The only issue I had besides the slight bell pepper is how rough the tannins were and the coconut on the nose. American oak? Not something i’d think Roy would use. — 4 months ago

Domaine Marc Roy

Clos Prieur Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir 2005

A little farmyardy on opening, but still some pleasure in this forgotten oldie from the cellar when it opened up… — 3 months ago

Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair

Les Petits Monts Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Great lineup & dinner with Louis Michel. He showcased his amazing wines in what he termed were difficult vintages. — 5 months ago
