Like most recent vintages in Bordeaux, we found the wine to be overtly hot and lacking balance. Its good, make no mistake. But far from the classical claret we love. — 4 days ago
These recent vintages that are too hot and too rich to our taste.
That being said the wine is done in a classical style and is truly excellent. Would be several points above in a normal year (if those exist still…) — 15 days ago
Very dark purplish rubi robe, nose of dark cherries, sweet spices and blackcurrant. Medium bodied, rich but light on its feet after 2 hours decanting. This is top notch stuff and highly recommended. — 3 days ago
No specific notes but an excellent blanc de blancs that works really well with food. — 4 days ago
Very dark blackish rubi robe, nose of cassis, asian spices, blackcurrant and cedar, with a hint of flowers. Too hot a vintage and not to our taste, but the wine is light on its feet, fresh and quite elegant for the concentration. This is top notch and highly recommended. — 4 days ago
Very dark, blackish purple robe, nose of spices, blackcurrant and dark fruits. Very dense and rich, but good balance and freshness for the octane. Great stuff. — 4 days ago
Dark rubi robe, nose of dark cherries, anise and flowers. Medium bodied, spicy, very elegant and long. This is an excellent Nuits 1er cru, great balance of power and enough class to come above most. Top stuff. — 4 days ago
Light and elegant, low octane for todays standards, we liked it a lot. Very elegant and fresh, great with food. — 10 days ago
It worked great with the Brazilian barbecue. Punches well above its weight. Good stuff. And the restaurant has a deal on south american wines on Mondays and Tuesdays. — 20 days ago
Alexandre Pagliano
Dark rubi robe, nose of cedar, blackcurrant, asian spices and violets. Very elegant and polished, complex, medium bodied, very civilised tannins. Long. Great stuff. Ready to drink but no rush. — 2 days ago
