Very dark purple ink robe, nose of cedar wood, top soil, flowers and cherries, with a touch of spices. Its high octane but light on its feet, less complex than the usual as it has no cabernet franc. Frankly long and very complex, an excellent Evangile, that is very drinkable now but has a lot of potential. A few pros noted the marked wood tannins during the futures tastings, here its well integrated and will probably be better in a few years. — 21 days ago

This is actually a red wine, 100% pinot from declassed villages wines due to yelds higher than allowed. Great bottle. Fruit, tannins and balance. We liked it a great deal. Price is unfriendly so not something we’ll do often. — 4 days ago

Dark rubi robe with a purple hue, not showing its 25 years. Nose is very evolved and more on secondary notes. Big disappointment on the mouth, very evolved and lacking complexity for such a stellar reputation. A good bottle that is not worth the price tag… — 12 days ago

Was a very strange experience, wines looks and tastes like its unfinished, still undergoing malolactic. We are putting it back in the bottle with close it with a vacuvin and will taste again tomorrow. — 4 days ago
