Good underlying fruit and quality vinification, but still a lot of wood. Better than a decade ago but would be huge if they would further reduce the amount of new wood barrels…. — 7 days ago
This is actually a red wine, 100% pinot from declassed villages wines due to yelds higher than allowed. Great bottle. Fruit, tannins and balance. We liked it a great deal. Price is unfriendly so not something we’ll do often. — 12 days ago
Lunch at Union Square Cafe. Great match to the food. Asian spices, crushed flowers, earthy, good balance and very expressive. We loved it. — a day ago
Great stuff. Did not took specific notes but this is a complex and elegant wine with lots of fruit and great length. — 4 days ago
Consistent with prior bottles and notes. Great ethereal Pomerol. — 7 days ago
Was a very strange experience, wines looks and tastes like its unfinished, still undergoing malolactic. We have put it back in the bottle and closed with vacuvin to taste next day. We tasted again, the carbonic gas is gone but the wine is funky and not good. — 12 days ago
Medium dark rubi robe, nose of flowers, dark cherries and asian spices. Very polished tannins, medium bodied, great length and minerality. Top notch wine that is excellent now, no rush though. — 3 days ago
Even better than last time, great minerality and beautiful finish. QPR is second to none in white burgundy. — 7 days ago
Medium dar rubi robe. Nose of flowers, dark cherries and a hint of asian spices. Very long, medium bodied and complex in the mouth, this is outrageously good and oh so young. Great stuff. Our valentines diner :) — 9 days ago
