Dark rubi robe, no fading or bricking on the reams. Nose of cedar wood, top soil, blackcurrant and violets. Silky and elegant in the mouth, polished tannins, ever so slightly grip at the end, overall very cabernet and excellent freshness and tension in this medium bodied wine. This wine is now called Les Perrieres de Lafleur because it has Cabernet Franc vines from the pépinière of the heralded Lafleur vineyard. Very dark rubi robe with no signs of aging. Tobacco and cedar notes, with violets and a hint of spices as well. Good density and medium length on a small vintage. Its an excellent bottle that is singing now but there is no rush.
